Security Overview:
Security assessment in cloud computing involves evaluating the safety of cloud-based systems and data. It includes identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards. This process helps mitigate threats like data breaches and unauthorized access. Regular assessments are crucial to maintaining a secure cloud environment amidst evolving cyber threats.
At 5G Networks, security is at the heart of everything that we do, from security assessments, to hosting applications and services, to helping customers with their Essential 8 journey. We are continuing to invest in our security capabilities and offerings and strive to keep security in the forefront of every customer and project.
Tasmania Orchestra:
At 5GN, our longstanding partnership with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra spans several years, reflecting our shared dedication to community engagement and empowerment. The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra’s meaningful contributions to society, aligning seamlessly with our core values, have inspired us to deepen our collaboration. As we reflect on the positive impact of our collective efforts over the past years, we are filled with pride and gratitude. Looking ahead to 2024 and beyond, we are excited to further strengthen our alliance with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, leveraging our resources, expertise, and networks to drive even greater positive change in the communities. Together, we are committed to making a lasting difference and creating a brighter future for all.
Spud lunch supporting mental health:
Today, we’ve come a long way in understanding the importance of mental health. It’s recognized as crucial for our overall well-being. We talk about it openly, support each other, and make sure help is available when needed. Workplaces and large organisations such as the Saints Football Club, also play their part by promoting mental wellness and providing resources. This shift in attitude is breaking down barriers and making it easier for everyone to prioritize their mental health.
We have been invited by the Saint Kilda Football Club to support this cause at the annual Spuds Lunch on the 21st of June at Marvel Stadium.
NetApp x 5GN event:
5G Networks Ltd and NetApp had a successful event with our customers on Thursday the 6th of June. It was great to hear about everything we are doing around security and storage to make it safer and easier for our customers. It was a pleasure to have Keiran McCartney and Camille Bellon and our CTO Chris Wright deep dive into deployment of AI-driven threat detection systems, and the imperative of collaboration between industry stakeholders to fortify defences against emerging cyber risks.
We met with valued partners of 5G Networks and attended presentations about the trends and growths in Data Centres and AI.
